A. There is some crime, mostly opportunistic. Don’t leave your valuables in a car or unattended on a beach, and visit remote beaches and remote areas only as a group, and you should be fine.
Q. Should I bring my cell phone? Will it work?
A. While most of our villas have landlines, here in the islands service can be spotty at best due to weather, the elements and outdated equipment. We strongly recommend that you travel with a mobile phone. The major cell phone carriers on St Croix are AT&T and Sprint. You should not incur roaming charges from those providers. You will need to check with your cell phone provider prior to your departure to inquire if you about roaming charges (including AT&T and Sprint). If AT&T or Sprint is not your provider, a “GO” phone can be purchased before you leave and work well here.
Q. Is there Internet access at the villas?
A. Yes, there is unlimited Wi-Fi Internet access at most Villas. Bring your own laptop or mobile device.
Q. What happens when I arrive at the airport?
A. We will be at the airport waiting for you; we’ll have a sign with your name. You will pick up your luggage and car then follow us to your villa. If you have any problems that cause flight changes, please try to let us know. Call our Greeter Team Leader, Inderia, to advise her of any arrival changes en route.
